Giving back to our youth, Waianae ocean educational outreach day

We had an awesome afternoon doing an ocean educational outreach presentation for a youth group last Saturday.  We started with a tag team ice breaker-chaser (that cracked everyone up).  Ocean Girl volunteers brought pocket-sized sustainable fish guides for each youth, we learned: correctly ID fish you have caught,  legal-sustainable size,  the seasonal times to eat…

We Grew – we were successful, we were passionate, dedicated & hard working, and we were ready to spread our wings. In late 2013, we realized we had to allow the incredible creative surging energy of our awesome company and people to truly grow and flourish! So began our expansion to better serve our community. 2014 is turning out to be the most awesome year EVER, see what we have planned!

Kona Surf Film Festival returns to the Big Island

The 10th Annual Kona Surf Film Festival announces that film submissions are now being accepted. No fees. No forms. Just send them in for a chance to be shown at the KSFF 10. The deadline for all submissions will be December 15, 2013.
