At its heart, ocean girl project is an adventure connection where girls engage, interact, transform, and celebrate, we take the best of a summer camp experience and light it on fire.

Our tribe we started in 2006
(BecauseWe Surf) doing beach clean-ups + fund-raising for organizations like Kapiolani Hospital for kids.
A swell was building.. In 2008 we launched ocean + surf camps for girls. We created opportunities/scholarships for economically disadvantaged girls. We introduced them to local food, marine education, art, fun, and surfing. With One Wild Day ocean adventures and workshops in 2013 we took ocean girl project island wide 😉
Giving back We are a force for positive action – bringing together corporate sponsors, businesses, and community; we contribute every day, it is our kuleana (responsibility) to do every single thing that we can, and then do a little more We have created a joyful company full of passion, preservation, solid community partnerships and beautiful connections. We are forever grateful and appreciative.
Promise & Trust Love of adventuresome wild and beautiful places in Hawaii and on our great planet demands our attention, active protection and kokua (help). We have always blazed a trail in the practice of sustainable actions. We donate time, services, and reinvest funds into our community, and support organizations whose values are in line with our company beliefs.
Ocean Waves seem to captivate the essence of its spiritual surroundings and bear the imprint from the soul of the profound deep.
When we are surfing..
Surfing challenges you, it allows you to let go of the stress of everyday life and focus on achieving one singular difficult goal, catching a wave. When it happens, when you finally catch a wave, it is mystical; you experience a connection to Mother Nature on a very personal and profound level. It’s a feeling that we chase over and over and never grow tired of. Surfing takes practice and hard work, and that is a big part of what makes it so special. No surf day or wave is ever the same, and neither are we.
Nice article. Thanks for sharing.
