Reminders: One of us will always be there before 9am but please make sure a staff member has seen you and your child before leaving when dropping off. All parents must sign the liability waiver and and contact sheet before camp, if your pick up driver changes for any reason you have to speak directly with Colleen before we will release the girl to anyone not listed, best to list an alternate just in case.
Along with lunch, we will be providing snacks, juice, and water throughout the day. We have reusable water bottles for all the girls and reusable canvas bags for them to use each day. Please do not send plastic water bottles, we are a single use plastic free camp.
Our photographer Donna Welch will be taking pictures of the girls surfing, and all girls get a free picture as part of their experience. If you are interested you can also purchase a CD or other pictures on-line. We will post that info on this blog before or during camp.
What to wear & bring: towel, t-shirt, bathing suit with board shorts, rubber slippers, (please no sun screen on the top of your legs!) change of clothes. - girls can bring their own board with leash after checking with Colleen and getting approval.
NOTE We have most of items available for you to use for free if you need, email and let us know (colleen@oceangirlproject.com) and we will get you set up!
What not to bring: any valuables, expensive sandals, i-pods, plastic water bottles, or plastic bags. Girls can bring cell phones but they need to be turned off please. Staff will have cell phones in case of emergency.
